Oh what the hell. I might as well start this one early the game is not over officially but it is over in my mind....

Now in this thread I am going to tell you a lot of shyt on why we lost, but the real reason can be summed up this way..... WE can't stop anyone and we don't get timely hoops.....

Eddy curry had a good game, going up against a formidable player in oneal, but again oneal has seemed to be turn into a perimeter player as well as the rest of the pacers team, I guess they is why they didn't shoot many FT's but they still managed to whip our ass with a perimeter game..

Francis had a solid game as did Q rich. I like what I saw from francis in stretches and he really went after it in the second half... frye looked a little better but he still is struggling. Lee was good as usual, could have been better on defense against harrington...

marbury and crawford were god horrible, but when you let crusty ass darryl Armstrong go off for the kind of game he had, you won't win, you can't win and you shouldn't win. We still don't defend and we let washed up has beens and scrub, slow non dribbling shooters to abuse us.. it never ends... never with this team..

we cut the lead to 1 at the end of the third quarter and we turn the ball over and never recover, we fell to pieces, we have no leader, we have some good young players that need a leader, that need a head on the court, and we just don't have it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

watching indiana move around the court as if they were playing a game of horse in their driveway is got damn sickening. Nothing has changed with this team. We have a group of young players who will play hard and inspired and show flashes of brilliance, but when things get down, it is going to take more than the courage and will if Q richardson and david lee to save this team.... We need a leader in the backcourt.....

We lost because we don't know how to fight, to perservere, to understand what the other team wants to do and make them do something else...if harrington is hot, make him uncomfortable. Armstrong hits 2 threes, make sure he never sees the basket again with out a hand draped all over him...... Simple things, this is not rocket science...

I know I have said a lot, steph sucked, crawford sucked, frye was not good, but we all know this, we also know we are now 1-2 , but the truth is it will get worse until we learn how to stop average , bad and washed up players. Good players will do what they do, but we get our asses opened up wide by a group of clown reserves and that is going to kill us all season long until someone stops it!!!!!!!!!!!

I am out!

Another over analyzed assessment of the game. Seriously the team lost because of Marbury.

THe knicks need some balance. They need to clear out the backcourt because francis and steph are trying not to step on the others toes. And Crawford and Nate need more minutes, Crawford to calm down and Nate because he is productive. Lee needs to start, but his inabilty to trust his jumpshot makes him a turnover waiting to happen alot of the time. The knicks need a starting quailty power forward and channing isn't it. And the knicks need JJ2 to get healthy so we can stop playing this 3 guard rotations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

granted- our defense isn't great.

But I think teams come in confident that they can hit open jumpers and they do.

I mean, teams shoot the lights out from outside against us.

I doubt if the players were shooting in practice that they would hit the same number of open shots.

The knicks are going to have to win some games before this confidence goes away and becomes doubt.

One reason: Marbury would rather play soccer then make a contribution to winning last night.

without any doubt, star + crawford must contribute. you mention armstrong but whos job was it to shut down harrington ?

if you said vet experience helped in a big way, i would agree but the crusty-ass anology dont hold water....

I missed the game so this was good read. Its a shame how the Knicks lose. We need defense.
