Stephon Marbury will appear at the Steve & Barry's store at Sixth Avenue and 33rd Street in Manhattan this afternoon at 3:45 to promote his $14.98 Starbury One shoes. Brandon Albert, a Virginia high school player who won a contest rewarding academic achievement, will present Marbury with the shoes he'll wear in tonight's game against the Pacers.

Marbury will also appear at the store tomorrow for an autograph session and fan Q&A from 4:30 to 6 p.m....

Nice to see he has his priorities in order. He's more concerned about his image vs winning games. There is no balance whatsoever with this Dufus.

Yeah, except Tiki is one of the more respected guys in sports and is an all around person. Good guy? No clue, don't know him. Again, Tiki doesn't belong in the same sentence as Marbury.

Yea, Tiki is a good guy. I met him at some driving range in East Hanover, NJ once. Well, not "met him" but just talked to him for a few minutes. Seemed like he was a nice guy.

Marbury is making a real non-fan out of me. I had expected him to have a great season but the first two games don't look so good. I hope this guy stays focused. So much of our season depends on him.

He is going to mess up his ankles bad if he keeps playing in those shoes. Unless Thomas is looking to have insurance pay the balance of his contract he needs to demand that he wear a supportive shoe.

I finally saw the shoes where I live at a barbershop I was at. A kid who cleans the shop was wearing his all white shoes and a Sky Blue hoodie. The apparrel looked awful.
