What is your line-up and why?

Mine?

Curry (He's finally arrived)
Q (He's back!)
Lee (Like Nate, you can incert him almost in any situation and he's on)
Crawford (We already know what he can do, so get off of his back)
Either star or franchise (but never together)

Coming off of the bench?

Either star or franchise (maybe alternate starts in certain games - I say let the best man come forward, let them prove themselves)
Frye (He was better when he came off the bench last season - he's not ready to start yet and please, don't make him play Center!)
Nate (the guy is always' on, no matter were you put him)
Jeffries (when he comes back - we desperately need him to anchor the defense)
Balkman (shows good D now, but still a rook who needs some time)
Collins (He also needs some time to develop)
Cato (I'd like to see more of this guy, but at 1.5 mpg, how is that supposed to happen? Curry needs some good back up)
I'll never trust this' team again.

Jeffries will make a huge difference in team defense. I bet he will be huge. I hope he doesn't turn out to be a Cambyman prone to injury.

My lineup
Steph: Most talented PG
Q: most effective Knick in the last two games and should return to his natural position to help on defending the backcourt.
Jeffries: team defense
Lee: Better rebounder and Frye is slumping. Change of scenery could help but I'd be fine with Frye or Lee.
Curry: Do I really need a reason?
A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.

This is the lineup we should start (when possible)

Curry
Lee
Jeffries (use Balkman or M.Rose until Jeffries back)
Q.Rich
Francis/Marbury

bench...
Marbury/Francis
Crawford
Balkman
M.Rose
Frye

Here are 5 reasons why we should do this (IMO)...

1)Starting Jeffries at 3 allows us enough rebounding and hustle to start Lee next to Curry. Jeffries can swing over to cover some of the taller 4s and they both play d and rebound (and off-set Curry's 2 rebounding nights)

2)Putting Q.Rich at the 2 allows us to take advantage of this strength and outside shooting. Having Marbury or Francis at the 1 allows them to "go off" and be Franchise or Starbury at times. Q.Rich is good at getting the wide open kick-outs.

3)Frye in the second unit can play center and find his game. If he returns to form, I still think he should either play center, or only play when Curry is not on the floor. They clearly do not complement each other well (same deficiencies - poor d and rebounding).

4)This also breaks up the Starbury/Franchise experiment and gives us more size and defense to balance both lineups out. Jeffries, Lee and Q Rich for the starters, M.Rose, Balkman and Frye for the reserves.

5)We may improve the on-court chemistry by adding Lee and subtracting Marbury or Francis from the starting lineup.

Welcome to feedback and/or suggestions...

I really like those scenarios. Good points well made. It makes me realize just how important Jeffries absence really is. That's a huge hole in our defense.
I'll never trust this' team again.

this may sound undorthox but i think the best one would be

steph
nate
richardson
balkman
lee

you can replace balkman with cato depending on his shotblocking abilities. anyway i think thats the best SL. but for some reason i dont even expect for it to be used

EDIT: oh my SL discluded jeffries since hes out if he were healthy than i guess hes the PF. even if hes healthy i still might prefer lee and cato. as the PF C.
