that's the type of PF we need. frye would fit perfetcly with GS and they liked him in the past. Diogu would fit here better perfect trade for both teams

except isiah will never admit to something foul trading frye after comparing him to duncan will leave him open. he is a self-fulfilling prophecy, a narrow-minded self-indulgent stooge--thats why things have turned to sht after he gets his hand on them--no flexibilty to say he is wrong other than blaming it on something else.

I think GS would take frye for diogu and i think it would help both teams. but this is about the team its about isiah being right.

I dont know about that man......

Diogu is not a defensive presence -

He scores in the post, Shoots well, but turns the ball over all the time and doesent play much D.

Hes like a mixture of Frye/Curry - Why do we need that?

he's a better rebounder shot blocker and he is a tough sob--we need that we need more intensity

Diogu has a very high motor, the dude never stops moving. He's great in the post, can rebound the ball and can shotblock. I'm not entirely how his man defense has been in the NBA but it was good in college.

I like that idea of trading for Ike(from Buffalo) Diogu, frye is better off with a west coast team so him laying down on the beach getting his tan on would be right up his alley. If he continues to play like this it's gonna be a COLD WINTER for him in NY.

This is how rumors get started. Verify your information, guys.

Ike Diogu has played three games this season. His turnovers are 1 vs. Portland, 0 vs. LA, 2 vs. Utah. 1 TO per game, thusfar.

Saying he has 9 turnovers is absurd and wrong. You're confusing him with someone else.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

he's 6-8.

no thanx.
DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.

PATIENCE. we should not be looking to deal channing now, 3 games does not erase all the promise he showed last season. im not oppossed to possibly dealing him later in the season, but we should at least wait a bit and see what we have with him, and how he might fit in the future (or if he does). We can also do better than Diogu, I like him, but not enough to deal Frye for him. Wait and see who comes available later in the year before we start making channing deals.

Briggs you were always one of my favorites here. I definitly believe we need to trade Frye and Francis(I would say trade marbury but he is untradeable) because they have value. So instead of the knicks trading like they usually do, junk for high priced risks......... they can trade for players we actually need and want!!!!!!!!!!

I say package frye with francis for a starting NBA quailty Power forward and a pick.

Francis has no trade value. He's owed $ SIXTEEN mil a year and has an awful history.

What are talking about????? There are couple of teams that had interest in Francis over the summer one being the pacers, another being the lakers. Don't get in twisted between him and marbury, Francis is hard to move(which is why I would package him with Frye) but he isn't untradeable like Marbury. And if Francis keeps playing with in the TEam concept and getting Assist, Hell ya francis is very tradeable to teams like the Heat, Grizzles(who said they would like a scoring point guard like francis to help out paul), Cleveland, Indy, washington............ I would trade francis for Jamison strate up right now!!! Or Francis & Frye for Jamison, #1 pick and Blatch or Hayes.........

I don't remember Francis being involved in ANY trade rumors aside from the ones that we make up on the site where he gets sent to the Nuggets for Martin.

I guess that means Marbury had negative value if he has equal talent, just as bad a history, if not worse and an even more bloated contract.
