I concur. We should see how this season goes. I like our young core. No more long contract veterans. Keep all our talent this season since we swap picks anyway. Dumping Marbs and Francis WILL make us worse in the short term.

You get rid of a bad contract and take care of the two most glaring needs of the team. The only way a team takes one of the guards is to take a young salary with potential. The only way to get out of it, has long passed, when we signed the contracts. We have to live with it until it's over with. There will be no trades involving any of the guys you mentioned. Looks like Zeke may have trapped himself afterall, not with bad talent, but ball hogers with attitude. We are a Crawford and Frye away from winning these games. It doesn't matter who we bring here. I'm convinced that whoever comes to NY will have the same problems. It's not the players. It's the environmnet. There no real support for this team.

One step at a time. I think we can get more value for Crawford right now. Showcase him and then trade him. Do the same for Francis. Then start Q, Steph in the back

Carter trade or another trade? I was against the Carter trade because at that time it was believe by everyone (except playa2) that Carter is injury prone. I would do the trade if given a second chance but back then, I wouldn't.
