Watching the last two games I have to say I do not like some of the things Isiah has not implemented in his offense. I also have a problem with him not taking players out that continue to make mistakes.

1. I have not seen any pick and rolls where players are coming off numerous screens.

2. There is a lack of cuts to the basket.

3. Isiah claimed that Eddy is the focal point of our offense yet the Knicks don't even use him when Eddy is hot. Which is ridiculous because Eddie can cause our opponent's defender to be in foul trouble.

4. When a player is playing good Isiah has a habit of taking them out. Q

5. When players are having a bad night they are kept in the game too long.

6. Maybe this team should try playing zone and better team defense.

7. When is Isiah going to design plays for Q? The way Q is playing he should be the 2nd option or atleast the 3rd option until the players get their head out of their ass.

I really don't understand why Isiah is not taking out players when they are not following his offense or if they are having a horrible night. An example of that is, Francis had a good flow of the game running the offense and then Isiah decides to put Jamal in to replace him right away.

Also if Frye does not have his head into the game, Isiah should not wait until Frye is in foul trouble to take him out. The other night Nate got a tech and Isiah pulled him out of the game, yet when Frye shot a 3 the first time Isiah did not put him in check. The result of Isiah not saying anything with Frye is, Frye decides it's ok to take another 3. The same thing with Jamal, and Marbury not feeding the post. If these guys are not giving the ball to Curry at what point will Isiah put them in check?

i said in a thread before and i'll say it again, the push offense is BS. it's designed to take decision making out of a "point guards" hands and makes it more free-flowing.

in all honesty, this offense really looks like it was designed to get eddy some easy scores and that's it. frye is not a part of it at all. so far, 2 players have regressed big time and that's jamal and frye.

eddy's scoring more but francis and marbury are having some troubles adjusting.

we haven't broken 100 pts in regulation in both games against two 20-30 win teams.

and his in game coaching is questionable to date, at best. frye taking a 3 out of a timeout? jamal constantly going 1 on 1?

there are some seriously bad signs. sure it's only game 2...but these things have continued from preseason...and our schedule is brutal over the next 3 weeks. there's a good chance we don't win another game until 11/18 vs. the celtics.

Agreed. At what point will we see a pick and roll for Frye? Will there ever be strong picks so Jamal or any other player can shoot off screens instead of just shooting from the outside off the dribble?

well, it's only been 2 games and i'm sure he's going to make adjustments. but i think it's getting more obvious that we need to slow down the game with the 1st unit - they really are a 1/2 court team with marbury, francis, and curry. but nothing isiah can do will fix the defense. we just don't have the personnel. offense may come around but defense? i'm not so sure.

The way I see it this offense is not designed to take advantage of Frye's talents. Isiah is not allowing him to be StarFrye. If I were Frye I'd just quit at this point. Call it a season and hope the Knicks get a new coach that will utilize his skills better.

The players just need to be more manly and get Curry the ball. Also they should play more manly defense.

It looks like they only pass the ball to Curry in the first quarter then their attitude is they have to get theirs.

Well, it is super early in the year but yet... Q, who I don't like as a player, is noticeably better than last year so far. Yeah, yeah, his brother died last year. Isiah is involving him in the offense this year and not pulling him so quickly. One good sign. Hope I am wrong about Q.
We could be the Dallas Mavs of the East.

I am not sure what to think of Isiah as a coach. I think the one positive that I see is that he has created team unity at this point. He also appears to be pushing the right buttons with Curry. I think where he is lacking is his ability to coach in game situations and to a lesser extent to coach/teach in practice. His lack of vision and lack of a plan for the team are coming back to haunt him. The mismatch pieces that he brought in do not complement each other and do not fit.

His lack of vision begins his ability as a GM. We will never win aother game with our backcourt. I seriously dont see how we win more than 2 games in november.
