1st against the grizzlies they blow that lead.. now against the hawks, everytime the knicks get closer, they just give up another basket.. Final 3 mins so far against the Hawks the Knicks just cannot get a stop... They have got to strengthen up defensivly. If they can become a better defensive team then they will be a tough team this yr.

The Knicks just can't play defense down the stretch, they can't play defense period. With Jeffries out, the Knicks do not have one good defensive player.

Defensive players, Offensive players...
NY just has no good players.
Good player is the one who can play on both ends or at minimum on defensive end...
Thats why nobody wanted most of this players on the team.

Playing defense for anyone who is reasonably athletic is a matter of having the right mindset, and learning a few techniques. There is no reason that this team can't improve its defense, and I expect that they would.

Joe Johnson was killing our guards. Curry was trying to help defend everywhere but the Hawks kept finding ZAZA wide open. Curry actually defended well but nobody rotates when Curry goes to bail our guards out who cant defend JJ.
Also what is Isiah thinking. He basically had 4 guards (if you count Q as a guard) and Curry out there for a while. Thats ridiculous.
I LOVED how Curry just exploded in the 4th, speaking as a fan of the Raptors, Curry looked well, scary I think is the word. Or Shaq-like Curry: 19.1ppg-7.3rpg-58%fg

Don't you guys get it? It's completely unfair to expect the Knicks to win without Jeffries. How can you expect any coach to win with this group of players?
