STOP taking long jumpshots. I don't know who is giving you the advice about sitting on the perimeter But STOP. Get down to the low post and STAY there--3-4 12+ footers a game OK------BUT you want 80% of your shots from point blank range. If you have the mentality that you did at AZ of letting the game go by while you sit out on the perimeter--you will keep your SOFT label. Go back and look at your films playing in the NCAA's your senior year---you dominated in the post. shooting jumpshots is fool's gold. You are FRIKIN 6-11 with long arms with good post moves. Go DEMAND the ball and take 15 shots in the post tonight. You must play TOUGHER and SMARTER--these crp efforts that I have seen dating back to large portions of last year after that nice spell is troubling. To be the man you must be a MAN--DEMAND the ball on the low post and go to work. To defer the ball to anyone--get into the post and become VOCAL and do your thing. Move your frikin legs on the D and stop coming down with your arms---you pick up way to many fouls--both you and curry pick up way to many fouls that can be avoided by THINKING the game a little.
Cheers

It is a shame cause he really does have some nice post moves but he doesn't really show us them since he's hanging around the perimeter so much.

Channing said it himself, he's thinking too much out there instead of just playing.

Hi channing this is enyspree. Stop playing like a puccy. Thanks.

P.s.: you don't need the ball in the post. You need to get in there and get the ball yourself and rebound. You look like a fag out there. Stop complaining to the refs all the time! Be a man and stop being a puccy!

under pressure...

ultimatum's on isiah. blame was put on lb for last season. and we have a 2nd year player at the starting PF spot (an elite position in the league) and a 2nd year player backing him up. that's alot of pressure and it's pretty obvious channing is feeling it.

and not for nothing...but this comes down to coaching. it doesn't look like isiah's using channing wisely out there as he's left to fend for himself on the offensive end most of the game.

any time curry or frye have their hands up and position in the post, they have to get the ball. i saw a bunch of times in preseaosn AND in memphis when they didn't. our guards blow chunks.

Definately. I would do it sooner than later. Knick need a dude that is gonna work. David lee already should start ahead of him. If the knicks have to start lee over frye the the knicks gotta trade him while they can!

I don't think so. He was hurt for the later portion of last season, and he didn't play well in exhibition games. One good game would mean just that, one good game.

It is interesting that in Summer League and early in pre-season he looked like he was using nice post moves around the basket, and now it seems like he's not doing that now. I agree with the assessment that he should just let the game come to him. Personally, I don't see this as a reason to panic, considering the fact that he seems like a hard worker, and has proven that he can be successful. I see it more as growing pains of a young player trying to find his strengths and weaknesses rather than some kind of deep underlying problem.

Channing just need to be able to hit the jumpshot.

Curry needs to be the post guy.
You guys are greedy, you want curry and frye to be the post up guy. how many teams have to options in the post.
Curry is the big man, Channing has the sweet touch from the outside. Playing inside and phyiscal is not his game, that is fine.
As long as he can hit that jumper consistently like KT used to do, he will be golden. The most important thing Channing has to perfect is his DEFENSE, REBOUNDS, AND JUMPSHOT. he does not need to post and toast.

it is crazy how malicious some of you knick fans are. Frye is the future of our team, he has one bad game and all of a sudden everything he did ast year is forgotten. Frye is a half court player (i.e. Kurt Thomas struggling with Suns) once he adapts to the Knicks new playing style he should be dominant once again.
