Everybody is sharing their opinion on last night's game, so I will share my thoughts.

The Good...
1)Bench was strong, especially Nate and Lee. Balkman had good energy.
2)Passing and chemistry was improved for most of the game
3)QRich played hard, shot well, and rebounded - he was easily our MVP

The Bad...
1)Crawford kept chucking despite poor FG%
2)Curry still looked slow in defensive rotations
3)Francis and Frye were invisible most of the game
4)Our big men (minus Lee) could not take advantage of their size

The Ugly...
1)The chemistry/passing disappeared when the game got tight - turned to 1on1
2)Embarrassing that Warrick, Gay and Roberts kept getting rebounds when the game got close. Curry and Frye got schooled defensively by a rookie and 2 2nd year players. You either take advantage of your size, or sit them and play quicker players (Balkman). We did neither.
3)With game on line, why not take a high % shot? I can't criticize someone who misses a good quality shot, but taking 3 20+ foot jumpers? If you can't get a higher % shot, then skip the 1 on 1 and design a draw and kick play. IT didn't exactly show any late game poise or X/O's ability. What we do when we're not playing the Memphis intrasquad college team? This crap won't work against good teams, so why do it against a (depleted) bad team?

Also - Fans will say that Curry blocked 3 shots and rebounded well. While he did, he also missed lots of defensive rotations, ran the floor slowly, and could not dominate inside against the likes of 6'8 Warrick, 6'9 Gay - combined weight probably equal to Curry's 390.

Please don't leave Lee out of this. Warrick went nuts on him. Our entire front line has some defensive issues...but aren't they exciting?!!

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!

Curry had his better defensive games, One thing that did happen was fatigue set in as the game went on. Curry was limited due to foul troubles and basically played to stay in the game. Curry got nailed with a few crappy calls by the refs. Miller was a fish out of water with the way he was flopping around. David lee I though held his own remeber he is a second year player also. He made some good defensive plays like the block. And Curry had a game saving block on Lowry when he came out of no where to swat his shot away. Asides from the 19 point melt down the knicks played decent defense. The only problems that I was able to make out was the offensive rebounding allowed by the Knicks and the NYK guards inability to keep the opponents guards out of the paint.

This team needed the win and they got it. Next game is an entity of its own. Remmeber Bulls waxed the heat and lost to the magic. Every game is differnent especially on the road.
