this "push" offense is a way to mask the fact that we DON'T have a good decision maker out there. the offense was designed to hide mental flaws in the players...and that's a smart move by isiah. but when the game is in the balance and decisions, SMART decisions have to be made, we just don't have the guys to do it. we broke down and pretty much went 1-on-1 in the 4th, taking bad shots and committing turnover after turnover.

we still don't have a "head" out there.

Maybe you are right. Personally I think masking flaws is one of the jobs of a coach. Another big one is to amplify strengths if he can.

The coaches job is not to expose the team.

No, usually the team exposes itself all on its own.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

Knicks coaches are the only coaches that actually play in the games.

we looked like a poorly coached team in the 4th quarter.
