the knicks won this game so I'll take it.. but they played the ugliest game ever! Not getting rebounds on the mike miller missed free throws, letting rudy gay take an uncontested shot, and Q-rich traveled on the game winning play, the Knicks caught a break there. but the Knicks tonight looked like the same ol' blow a big lead team.

For real.

To say that they were the same old is absurd.

Craw wouldn't have been in there to make that steal with Larry around.

I just got back from the bar with Silverfuel and guns. That was the ugliest game I've ever seen. We were very fortunate to win, and really Memphis's poor play was more why we won than anything else. Blowing a 16 point lead. Crawford, THREE TIMES missing potential game winners. Francis and Frye were GOD AWFUL. Bright spots: Eddy Curry played well (though he definitely tired in OT), Lee and Q showed what he can do and I've said before that I liked Q, his energy, and his hustle, now he's showing something. Hope it continues.

That's all... I'm dead tired after 99 OTs, so I'm gonna go sleep after a win.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Guys couldn't rebound or defend well because of fatigue. You play for an hour straight and try defending a guy who is 6,8 and runs faster than you.
It's funny how this whole world is based on one dummy controlling another, and the leader dummy was chosen by a whole bunch of dummies.

id comment more affrimitavely but i didnt watch the game in its entirety.i had to go to a crappy audio production class .

anyway i caught the second half and I dont think the knicks are the same team. its true that they blew that lead, but if this were last season. 1) they wouldnt have had that lead. 2) they would have lost the game even after having that lead if they could somehow get it. and 3) Isiah's rotation at the end of the game was somewhat questionable. i.e. not putting balkman back in, an leaving francis in too long. starting frye over lee etc. and they still won.

anyway as tonights game proved. the knicks will never be what you would call a good defensive team, but if they can just hover around mediocre in that category than they have a chance to be a somewhat good team.

the travel makes up for one of the flop calls.

Didn't we pull a triple OT win out last year also, the year we won only 23?

FIgures that no matter what the team does SOME GUYS just can't accept anything good the team does. Yes we blew the lead, but I think the refs also had a hand in taking the air of the ball. They were making some really tough offensive foul calls and then I saw several times the Knicks namely Steph got no call when there was clearly contact.

Anyway this is NOT the same old Knicks. Even tho we did lose our way offensively, we still played TOUGH and stayed in there until we won the game. We actually got a STOP to win a game! Now how is that the same as before?

I'll take the win no doubt. 22 more and we're as good as last year at least.

Actually, they were pretty tired too. Good thing we have a young team.

True, true, but again, if Crawford, Frye or either Francis had shown up, then we could have 'earned' it. Shouldn't have to rely on ref calls.

Ill take a win anyway i can get it on the road. My biggest issue was why isiah didntslow down the clock when the knicks were up by 13 with 5 left. Whats up with the quick shots, and for god sakes, why is frye shooting threes with 20 on the shot clock?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?

This game went the way it will not change any opinions.
Mediocre is mediocre. In this respect the team is same as last year.
We can lose or win with bad and average teams at 50/50 rate.
But it is no way to get wins from top 20 teams playing this way.
We need to play way better

we need a shotblocker in the worst way... our perimeter defenders are horrible other than Q Rich... Jamal got a few big steals but he's not good at keeping his man from penetrating into the lane.... Eddy showed some nice shotblocking at times, but we need another leaper guy who can get blocks from the weak side, much like Camby used to do.
