Yeah, I was watching it before too dj. First, I love how Breeny had to cut Charles off in the beginning when he was blabbing away about the whole league when the conversation at that point was focused on the East. "Let's just keep it to the Eastern Conference. We'll get to the West later," Breen told him. Man, funny as hell. Kenny was even laughing when he looked over at Greg.

Yeah, you get a little bummed out listening to the Knick bashing but you know what, what the hell do those guys know anyway? It's all pure speculation at this point and right now it's easier or safer for these "experts" to kick the Knicks when they're down rather than talk positively about the potential this team has. Show some guts man, I mean Jesus. I mean, come on, Greg Anthony, disagreeing with I forget now, maybe Charles or Gail when discussing the "identity" and "growth" of another team (forgot which one - maybe it was the Cavs they were talking about but I'm not sure) said something like, "you also have to take into account that the players who are already in place are only gonna get better..." Oh, OK Greg, but when it comes to the Knicks that same thought doesn't apply to Curry, Frye, Lee, Crawford and Nate Robinson right? OK there pal... Rubbish.

Bottom line, it was entertaining up to a point, but you can't take the Knick bashing seriously by these retards. They're up there talking defense and identity then fail to bring up the acquisition of Jared Jeffries (Breen was starting to say something about JJ being their best defender and being hurt but one of those jerkoffs just talked right over him), Balkman and Collins - all defensive players and good chemistry guys. But no one mentions that as a step in the right direction in terms of building an "identity." Please....

The only opinions that would've meant anything to me from that panel would've been Breen's (the team's full-time play-by-play man - the voice of the Knicks) and Houston's (a recent former Knick). Curiously, both were silent on the Knicks. Oh well... No biggy. Time to start proving people wrong Weds. night!

They are all supposed to be objective but no matter what they go out of their way to trash the knicks. Its just part of fabric of society. I'm gonna compare it to racism un the 60's. Its just the way it is. The knicks have to over come it and I think they will starting this season.

it's not racism, the whole country hates ny. the 9/11 sympathy is over, the country hates the snooty ny-ers and the dangerous ny-ersand the rich ny-ers and poor ny-ers and the mean ny-ers. its why people are saying guiliani won't run for president in 08 - everyone hates ny again. back to normal.

ESPN gets more ratings trashing ny than making excuses for it. and, hey, we suck, we don't serve any excuses until we perform, but that's it: ESPN won't analyze our roster. they're reactionary. if the Knicks play well, they'll react to that. if the Knicks stink they'll react to that. if you want actual analysis/predictions/thought, I guarantee you everyone on this board watches more basketball than those ESPN fellers.
