Where is the lowest seating level you've been at in the garden for a reg season or playoff game watching the knicks ?

Seating area and what section.

I think it was in 95... Knicks vs. Nuggets. I got a pair of tickets from the hospital that was treating me. The docs begged me to go the Christmas party. I really didnt want too... hanging around little kids with cancer and blood disorders wasnt the emotional pick up I was looking for, but I played nice and showed up. Funny story... once I was there I sat on Santa's lap. He reaches into his sack and gives me an envelope. Turns out to Knick/Nugg tickets. Pretty cool. That was why they wanted me to go all along.

I go to the Garden, not knowing where the seats were. An usher points down. I walk down. Next usher points down. I walk down. A 3rd usher points down... there's no more down you can go. Only folding chairs and the hardwood floor. He sees I'm a nube and walks me and my friend to the seats. Picture the Knick bench. Behind them is a row where the assistant coaches and trainers sit. Behind them is a row of chairs, behind that row is where I sat. I was 5 rows closer than Rodney Hampton who was at the game among others. Waitresses come and take your orders for food, and you have a real menu. You could order beer or liquor and it was delivered in a glass to you. Best part was listening to the players and coaches. You could hear everything Riley said during timeouts, see all the grumpy looks Mason gave everyone, and smell Oakley who I think hand not showered for several days.

I've never been lower than the $45 dollar seats. I'm usually up in 425.

Knicks Vs. Heat in 2000 I think? Maybe it was 1998 or 1999...I remember John Starks was still on the team and the Knicks won and it was a playoff game... Third row to the left side of the basket. I remember a camera man turned around to get a crowd reaction and I pounded my chest like Starks did in the early 90's...He drawed a foul and made the basket in the final minutes of the game I think...The whole play cheered.

That's freakin cool fishy. I knew oakley had to be the stinky one, lol.

Back in the 80's I sat courtside with my pops. The ushers let us go all the way down there with no beef. The garden was empty probably cuz Bernard was hurt and ewing wasn't drafted yet. I remember it cuz it was my first and I got to see the guys at the pre-game shoot around. That was cool as hell. I remember Cartwright and I think bannister or truck Robinson. The ball came our way a few times and I threw it back! I will never forget that. The players didn't really pay me or any of the other fans any mind though. I think the knicks got blown out cuz we left early, lol.

As a grown up, I went to the first game Riley came back to the garden as coach of the heat. That was cool. The crowd was dogging Riley real hard and he was playing to it. That was cool.

The best ever for me was going to ewings jersey retirement. I almost cried man that was freakin amazing. Also reminds me of how short life is. I remember that first game I went to befor ewing came along then I went to his jersey retiring. I'm not even 30 yet!

As far as seats I always get the best seats available on the net. Usually $80. I was in the middle of msg for both games I mentioned.

When I was a kid my dad got tickets on the side of the basket on the court, 1st row. The knicks were playing Seattle and they had Tom Burleson. 7"4', big gaulky guy. I was yelling "spaghetti fingers" to him all night. Very cool experience. (who is old enough to remember a college game UCLA/NC State--Walton vs David Thompson and Burleson where NCState ended UCLAs undefeated streak?)
fishmike 9/27/2024 11:00 PM Ug I hate this. The idea of Towns is great until you see what a pussy he is. Jules is a dog. DD was a flamethrower locked up cheap for 3 more years. First Leon move I hate

I never been to MSG for a ball game, but I did see the knicks play an exibition game against the spurs in 2000 right after they played in the NBA final.

The game was in buffalo at hsbc arena, I was on the floor underneat the basket with my wife great seats 3 rows back.

I had never been that close to NBA PLAYERS before.

I shook Andrew Langs hand the guys hands were were huge.

A friend of mine alluded security and touched Ewing(in street clothes) hand before security moved him on his way.

LJ was so quick on the baseline it was scary, he left Duncan jock strap for a reverse layup.

Knicks won the game on John starks shot and the crowd went nuts!!! I felt those chills that people in the garden talk about.

I remember taping the game and clyde was so suprised to see so many John Wallace jersey's in the crowd in which I had one and still have to this day with his autograph on it.

Tim Duncan I recall was a little weird when coming out of the locker room, where a lady and my self had manuvered to take pictures of players comingout of the tunnel.

Knicks haven't been back since for exibition game
