In 2004-2005 their payroll was $102mil

Knicks payroll next yr factoring in Curry's and Jeffries salary along with any potential FA signings or draft picks the salary will be close to $90mil and that's what it was when Zeke took over yet people are giddy over this. 4yrs later back at Madison Square One.
