Gives the Clippers the flexibility to sign some of their players and like the Latrell trade of 98 we take on the big risk big reward with very minor in terms of $$$$$ risk.

Im going to immediately go to Orlando and offer up Nailon and Harrington for Declerq[ending contract] and a Orlando 2003 number 1 unprotected. It gives Orlando two front court players they desperately need and two we are refusing to play for some reason. before I even conceptulized these moves which I think are very fair to every club-I have to concede that i would like to have had Le nailon GET 25 mts a game no matter what. i think he has talent that is going to waste again in another city and unless the guy is smoking crack in the bathroom I just dont know why. BUt if they refuse to give him consistent minutes they he earned IMO then let him go somewhere where he can play for different assets. hes to good to get 5 mts a night defense and rebounding or not.

So, you are essentially asking the Clippers to just give up a 20 year old future all star for nothing. Poor guy, this losing is really starting to play with the mind of Knickerbocker fans.

right, you can't give nothing away for a guy who has some serious potiential. Protected top 10? That's almost as good as a second rounder.
