disciplined offense IT has put in, but from the games I have watched in the pre-season they look like rag tag streetballers looking to score more points than the other team. granted that is the key to the game, but the undisciplined trash we are watching is NOT some type of genius theme-although they will lead you to belive it is ladies and germs--- It's something like I have spent 140mm+ $ --- i have outspent you --i have horses who can score and i am going to let them do it whatever way they wish. i disregard defense now. im turning us into the mid 80s nuggets paul westhead style and every fundamental to the game is out the door----really its a formula taken secretly from the top offensive teams of all time prepared in the secret labratories of popcorn head himself anucha thomas aka "the evil genius"

The And1 team protects the ball on offense better than the Knicks.
If it didn’t work in Phoenix with Nash and Stoutamire... it’s just not a winning formula. It’s an entertaining formula, but not a winning one. - Derek Harper talking about D'Antoni's System

I like the offense but have to admit that the turnovers are ridiculous. IT needs to have these guys doing suicides until they drop for every turnover.
Trust the Process

He did say he wanted to run a more pheonix like game, their opponents usually score alot too. only thing they have the experience and the players to hold the lead. Turnovers will happen, they are still feeling their way through the lineup. Lets see come all star break. you have to play to your strenghths, defense is not their strongest suit, so find another way to get it done. Jeffries should help with that, and maybe one more defensive hustle player. Maybe Malik. or Bring jyd out of retirement. :)

FWIW, we were worst the league in TOs last year in a crawling offense that was probably not all that different from Detroit's, who were best in the league in that department by a wide margin.

Phoenix, with all their running, was 4th best.

They simply have better decision makers. TOs are going to continue to be a big problem for us.
