Do you think David Lee could bulk up and play enforcer on the knicks, or is he not tough enough/big enough?

Lee definitely is the scrappiest / hustle / garbage player on the Team.

I think he needs to bulk up some if he is going to play PF fulltime. I don't know if he can be an enforcer, but he can be a strong rebounder and seems unafraid to mix it up. Curry is the one that needs to be the enforcer. He needs to learn how Shaq intimidates without really doing anything overboard. Just a little elbow here or there or a hard pick and players will get the message not to mess with the Knicks.

Shaq? How about something just a little bit more realistic, like Oakley. He does seem to have that fire and he doesn't require the ball all the time.

I think of Lee as Debusschere, without the jumper.

good. i swear when i first saw him play the player who came to mind was rodman. imo david needs to keep gaining confidence and aggressiveness. he's got a crazy knack for the ball off the glass. i still think it's highgly significant that we playead our best ball last year with dlee starting at sf.

I like him just the way he is.

Currently he can play 3 positions for the knicks and is instant energy off the bench.

To bulk him up to resemble a player from a bygone era of basketball that never produced a championship is clinging to an outdated view of the NBA.

There is a lack of skilled 7 footers in the league.

the league is moving in a direction of agility and the ambidextrious (sp?) dunking, rebounding, loose ball getting machine is best used when spared the embarrassment of battling the top PFs in the league on a daily basis. (amare, duncan, KG, Dirk, etc.).

Who is he bulking up for? Curry and Shaq?

Oakley is a dinasour...no offense...but the league has changed BIG TIME.
all kool aid all the time.

D Lee's more of an athletic impact player like Marcus Camby w/o the shotblocking... i dunno if he's got the mentality to be the type of enforcer that Oak was, but then again, very few players do.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.
