none. i think marbury is untradeable unless we take back some of the worst contracts in the league. (i.e. zach, kmart)

memphis isn't taking him- they were hurting signing pau to his somewhat deserved max deal. at this stage, marbury has 5 or 6 strikes against. isiah bought at the peak, like ec.

No way DJ. Marbs is still a talent. and the NBA is about talent. Dallas would want that talent on their team. Surround Marbs with players who can play and Marbs looks good. Marbs made Amare look better than Nash (it's true). Houston needs a point in the WORST way and MARBS is a fave of JVG. Phil always thinks he can use a talent at the point and imagine Marbs and Kobe. Think about Marbs and Artest. You think Marbs is gonna sulk or mess with Artest? Artest will go QB on Marbs! Jerry West in Memph man is always lookin for skill. Minny would love to reunite Marbs and KG. The heat would love Marbs, Marbs wouldnt mess with Shaq. Please. And he'd be a major upgrade over J-will or Payton at the point.

amazing this organization went from Houston to Marbury in a span of 11yrs. Thats a lot of years of mediocrity & being capped out because of 2 players who have no business every making franchise $$$

I think....

Atlanta - Marbury played his college ball there and he still does put fannies in the seats. The Hawks need fans in the stands.

I really don't see who else takes a shot on him. LA isn't going to want him because before he went back to the Lakers, there was talk that he didn't like the Knicks roster and one of the reasons was that he didn't think Marbury could play in the Triangle. I think Atlanta is the only place he can go at this point.

he makes $60 over the next 3 years. after all the bad PR over the past year, what GM would want to bring that into their organization and how can they sell it to their fans?

Dallas- he'd be 3rd string behind Terry and Harris

Houston - Van Gundy said Brown and Marbury reminded him of Himself and Francis (who he traded)

Lakers - When Phil interviewed for the Nets job before landing with LA he told management his taking the job would be conditional upon moving Marbury

SacTown - Bibby does for them what Marbury doesn't: play a fullcourt motion offense and hit big shots.

Minny - the best shot because KG is DESPERATE for help of any kind. But is Marbury better than Mike James?

Heat - Riley wouldn't tolerate Steph's zero D for a day, another penetrator would be in Wade's way, and Steph can't feed the post, which hurts Shaq.

Minny is about the only team that might want him but they don't have the large short contracts to make it work.

No, they don't like him in ATL. He said he played GT and got goodies from them.

We'll need to include some Marbury shoes in the deal to successfully trade him.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

The only chance we have of getting rid of 'leader' is to wait this season out, and offer to buy out a part of his contract after this season is over with. It won't be anything like what we went through with Brown, but with one more season gone, it makes it easier.

I think a few teams would be willing to handle about 10 mil for a couple of seasons and put up with 'leader', until his contract ends, if they thought he could help them. Last year we were saying 'impossible', but with last year and this year off the books, it's looking a little more possible. I think we have what' about two more years with him after this season? Is that right?
I'll never trust this' team again.

There are only a couple of teams that I think would take Steph.

Denver: They really need scoring and need a shooting threat. Steph can shoot the rock. They also showed interested in Francis.

Memphis: Could also use a PG, scoring or not.

I think that's pretty much it. Marbury has dug his own grave and Isiah had built an even bigger grave around Marbury's. How fitting.

Marbury is ours until he becoms an expiring contract.

I'v accepted it, I advice you do too. Than again, I'v also accepted the fact that we are going to suck for at least 3 more yeras. But hey, if do well, its a bonus!
A glimmer of hope maybe?!?

agreed... he's a known cancer to any team that trades for him... no GM in his right mind would take on his contract & give up anything of worth in return... even for MIN to take him on, the Knicks would have to take back a heap load of garbage contracts.

None unless we gave them Frye with him to make it worth it for them.
