My girl bought me the Knicks Dynasty DVD for my B-day on the 24th. Its got the greatest 10 knicks games, from the championship days of the 70s to the Ewing teams of the 90's (No marbury games?

lol)
I was watching game 2 of the 93 playoffs vs the bulls, the game that saw the knicks lose a double digit lead in the 4th, before my man John Starks DUNKED on three bulls with two minutes left and sealed the game.
But man if you look at our front court back then we were just so big and tough. My girl even said, "the players looked so mean back then". Oakley, Ewing, Mason, and even Smith were just so tough and physical, constantly banging, hard fouls followed by harder stares, Starks and Rivers hustling down long rebounds and talking trash.
I love the Knicks, and I love this team, our youth, our coach, and even good ol marbs. But we just dont got it like they we used to. I want to see a return of that gritty, flagrant fouling, jab in the ribs while boxing out, what the f..k are YOU looking at Knicks.
This team has a lot of talent, but we are lacking that one warrior that can motivate this team. Is he out there? Do you still need to be like that to succeed?
