why trade spree when his stock is rock bottom?? atleast hold onto him till the all-star break, hope he plays well, then get something somewhat decent for him. If you wait longer, certain teams are bound to struggle and will look for a quick trade. I doubt Krause wants to be a top 3 lotto team for anther year. One thing to hope for: orlando does the miller=swift deal... hill gets hurt, we can trade spree to orlando for either swift, hunter, humphrey.. something?

I am not saything that this will happen. I know there will be tons of criticism for the orlando thing... I'm bascially just saying that now is not the time to trade spree

Knicks definately have to wait when you consider that everyone seems to be lowballing right now. Dale Davis and Damon Stoudamire? Please. The Knicks have to get a better deal than just players that another team just wants to get rid of. The Knicks, counterproductive as always have tried to wreck Spreewell's trade value, over a relatively petty issue, but the man can hoop and he is the only tradeable asset on the team other then the pending HIGH draft choice. Knicks have to get some serious value for him.

the only arguement for trading Spree right now is that he can be traded in combonation with the Dice injury exception, which could potentially ease a lot of deals.

i'd say forget trades and ride this thing out, unless draft picks and shorter contracts are included... but spree's contract ends in 2 years!
