After watching tonite's Mavs/rockets game,I think we will be seeing
Ming up there.I have to admit that Iwas surprised at how quickly he
has adapted to the NBA game after such a rocky start, its still early
but Im impressed.Thomas deserves to be on that list,he has earned it
despite his negatives.

Ming's shooting has been incredible. In his last 6 games, he's gone 31 for 35.

I disagree a little with ESPN about Kurt. He deserves respect for playing so far out of position, no doubt, but his effectiveness I question. He's not playing "center" when he scores, he's playing forward, because no one else is under the basket, except maybe Spoon. Spoon's the one who has to play center while Kurt gets his points, because Kurt shoots the short jumper, away from the net.

PPG is not the most important stat for a center, and it's misleading of espn to use that to say Kurt is a good center. The Knicks are outrebounded almost every game. They don't block many shots, either. That's the center's job, rebounding, blocking shots, put-backs and keeping the other team out of the lane. Kurt is not so great at that, because he's out-muscled and too short, which is why he fouls out.

Remember how Shaq ate Todd Macullough for lunch in the Finals? Well, Todd ate Kurt for lunch last week. Kurt is a mediocre center, which is good for a 6'9" guy, but not good for the team. Move him to the 4, start Doleac, then find a young 7-footer with quick feet to back him up. Indiana has the right idea, putting O'Neal and Miller on the floor at the same time. Just try to drive the lane if they're standing there.

I agree with you KT is not a C and he should be moved to the pf position. If I had it my way he would be traded ASAP only because I think the Knicks can get something for him. He is unathletic and commits stupid fouls. Most of his fouls are stupid. He has a great touch around 10-15 feet and I think some teams would take a long hard look at what KT brings. But he is no center and to have him play there is fools gold. The Knicks need to get a real center with size and defensive presence all of which KT doesn't have.
