Boston Herald - The Celtics still have one cut to make, but they’d rather not have to wield that blade. According to league sources, the Celts have been looking to make a more-bodies-for-fewer deal that would leave them at, or below, the 15-man limit.

It has been indicated either Michael Olowokandi, Luke Jackson or Allan Ray will have to go. But coach Doc Rivers reiterated yesterday it would be tough to let go of a veteran big man with Theo Ratliff still out (back strain).

Ray, an impressive shooter who also might fit into the point guard rotation, is one they’d like to keep. Jackson is a good shooter in a crowded field.

Could we be the perfect partner because we have the salaries? Could this be our chance to unload a JJ or Malik?

I'm quite sure isiah is on it. Knicks still has a roster spot so something might get done or not.

Hard to work something out, trust me I tried. Unless we plan on taking a semi big salary back and getting one expiring plus a few that expire after next year, we can probably trade Jerome James or Q.

forget about Big Turd... there's not a team in the NBA that would want to trade for him.

& Kandi's got an expiring contract, so i don't see any reason for them to trade him to the Knicks... if they're desperate to clear a roster spot, they can simply buy him out or waive him altogether.

We need Olowokandi badly for our collection.
This guy can make JJ and Steve to look like players with great work ethics and Malik will look like a start close to him.
This is the chance that must not be waisted

I won't start another thread about Luke Jackson, but I really do want him on this roster. The kid can play.
