Has anyone heard the rumor that Spreewell may be going to the "Late Show". The lakers need a third scorer. But the report didn't mention who would be coming back to the knicks.

Personally I would do the deal with the Grizz. Wright, Swift, and JWill if they wanted to throw him in.

I don't think the Lakers have anyone that the Knicks would want in return (except the un-tradable obvious).

thats Grizz trade is ridiculous. Those 2 players are their only centers (Gasol wont play C, they will snap him like a twig) and their talent far outweighs the Knicks.

The Lakers don't need a third scorer, they need Shaq back. Who was the 3rd scorer last year for their championship team....it doesn't matter when you have Kobe and Shaq.

But I'd rather kill Layden, and brainwash Jerry into thinking he came to the Knicks...and bring Hubie with him...Don would stay on as an assistant.

Maybe Spree, KT, Exception? Just for the sake of closing the imaginary deal...

Send Sprewell and the exception to Memphis for Williams, Swift, and Wright. That would be a sick deal.

Yeah but would Memphis do it? They'd develop a huge glut at the 2 & 3 if they were to do that trade as well as losing their depth at the frontcourt positions.
