What is the main reason the Knicks are such a horrible and uninteresting basketball team?
Because Don Chaney is a lousy coach; Jeff Van Gundy would have these guys winning
Because Most of our players are mediocre
Because the players don't care - hey, they get paid whether they win or lose, right?
Because the Knicks want to get Lebron James
Because Scott Layden is a lousy GM
Because James Dolan is a lousy owner
Because Antonio McDyess got injured
Because of bad Karma for trading Patrick Ewiing

You really need to add an all of the above choice there.

I would say because of a coach that is too soft on the players. They
talk about the Grizz needing a coach/taskmaster well they should of
added the Knicks to that list.Although I think Hubie is what those
young players need in memphis at this point in their careers,I dont
want to see "Hubie the sequel",I do think we need a coach that will
get on their cases, not as bad as carlissimo but not as soft as chaney.
Id would also add a mgmt that is encouraging mediocrity, enough said
on that subject.

I dont buy into that "bad kharma" stuff that camby is peddling right
now, cambyman was the embodiment of bad Kharma.we traded Patrick
because he asked to be traded,if he hadnt there might be something to
it.He shouldnt have been traded for what we got in return but it
wasnt kharma that gave us that junk,it was Layden.

Don't forget that certain players and others were saying "we're better without Patrick". I think that had a lot to do with why he wanted to be traded.

You may be right, but I was under the impression it was over a
contract extension.Could be a little of both.

That may be true. As I recall, Patrick wasn't dealing too well with his decline in skills. The Knicks were in their usual "win now" mode when they traded him. I don't know if I buy "bad karma", but as a result of trading Patrick we now have Travis Knight, Howard Eisley, Shandon Anderson & their contracts.

bad karma = stupidity on the knicks part. Why would you trade a big man for glen rice, a player nobody wanted anyway?

Is Glen Rice even playing in Houston??? I don't here anything about him. Anybody got any info on how he's playing this year?
NY KNICKS 4 EVER! Will we ever find players like Anthony Mason, Xavier McDaniels, Patrick Ewing again? I hope so.

I saw him in the game last night. I think he made like 4 3 pointers during the game. (The Rockets lost.)

Yeah, Rice was decent last night (and Ming was outstanding).
We suck.
