2005-06 season: It takes a certain kind of person to miss the same dunk 13 times in a row in front of a packed stadium and a national TV audience and then, without the slightest hint of embarrassment, line up for attempt No. 14.

While Robinson made a mockery of the dunk contest, the more troubling development for Knicks fans was the mockery he made of the point guard position. The 5-9 rookie finished with the second-worst Assist Ratio among point guards, seeming far too interested in looking for his own offense rather than others'. His Turnover Ratio was also far too high, ranking 48th out of the league's 65 point guards.

Besides the tunnel vision, Robinson had a solid rookie season. Not only did he create shots, but the ones he took had a decent chance of finding the basket. While his 40.7 percent field-goal mark doesn't seem impressive, Robinson made 39.7 percent from 3-point range and had an above-average free-throw rate, so overall his TS% ranked in the middle of the pack among point guards. Despite his size he was also a very strong rebounder, ranking 17th in Rebound Rate.

Scouting report: Robinson is extremely quick and a great leaper, so he can get his shot off in traffic against much bigger players. However, his game has a lot of loose ends that need tying. In addition to improving his court vision, Robinson needs to handle the ball better once he gets in crowds and not get so hyper when he gets the ball in transition.

Robinson wasn't a good defender last season but he could be solid in time. He's great at pressuring the ball and has good quickness and strength, but he gambles far too often and was burned repeatedly. While his size is a liability, his strength could limit how severely this impacts him.

The biggest question is whether Robinson will ever see the floor well enough to play the point. A 5-9 shooting guard is going to be a tough sell -- even if he can crossmatch with a point guard, that's still putting the point guard in a size mismatch -- so Robinson might be limited to an Eddie House type of role his entire career.

2006-07 outlook: The Knicks have a crowded backcourt, so barring a trade, Robinson may play substantially less than a year ago. Stephon Marbury, Steve Francis and Jamal Crawford all are ahead of him in the backcourt pecking order, while rookie Mardy Collins and swingman Quentin Richardson also could cut into his minutes. Additionally, Robinson's instant-offense playing style may not be as valuable on this team because it has so many other backcourt players who can create their own shot.

Paul got nearly got the Hornets into the playoffs in his first season with Mason, West, and PJ Brown, he is already a better pg then nearly every player in the league.....

Butler was efficient why shouldn't he be ahead of Curry he showed tremendous improvement more than curry ever has and has shown dedication to get in shape and work on his post game....
