I remember we went 4-1 in Las Vegas. Then the roster changed slightly and we did were good but less successful in the next league.
But Ariza, Lee, Frye, Nate, Sweets, etc were all running, disrupting and looking good. We had one of the more encouraging summer leagues.
I knew it was gonna be trouble though when all that energy was gonna meet up with the negativity of the veterans and the prior year. I was gonna show a post I made then about how the team seemed to be built around Crawford and his cronies (Nate, Q, Curry, Frye, Lee) and how I expected there to be a clash of leadership when their positivity had to meld with the negativity of the prior year (ie, Marbury, Mo, Malik, et al), but the board seems to have purged a lot of the old threads.
Anyway, most observers expected us to contend for a playoff berth. They thought we had some talent and that Brown would add wins, but they questioned if Brown, Isiah and Marbury could fit all their egos inside one team.
