Wow, the Knicks are taking it to the Pistons...up by 22. In the 2nd. Now would be a good time to get FWill some minutes and rest Eisley.

their comeback failed... What is don chaney doing? giving NO minutes to frank williams with Charlie Ward sidelined? are you kidding me, when Eisley is the only PG on the knicks playing? you've got to be joking... even dickau got some burn. Williams must be a scrub in practice or something... Frank Williams used to be touted as the Next Glove, and now what? And Dolan retained Chaney to lose games and get us in a position (wink, wink) to get LeBron, not to shallack the Pistons for fun.

plus... let lee nailon and anderson get more tick. I hope that we preserve our players - houston especially, so he doesn't break down later in his career. this is a nothing season - completely meaningless. Keep houston's minutes down, because we all know that Houston is not getting moved to any other teams, ANYTIME soon.

I have been mad at Chaney for not giving F_Will more burn.

However, tonight the Big Backcourt was working pretty well in the first half. Spree was bringing the ball up well, and I liked the looks the Knicks were getting with Houston, Nailon and Spree on the floor.

While I think Williams would have seen some time if the BBC wasn't used, I do agree that he should have come in for some of the 3rd quarter to rest the starters for the 4th. I mean, they had like a 26 pt lead.

As for Anderson...18 minutes is about right for him. Why should he get more time than that?

I am with you there. Both in the Philly game and this one... where were they in the 2nd half? Chaney is either the worst coach for subbing or he is tanking games.

man, I am a big Knicks fan, but I was almost rooting for the Pistons at the end of this one. It's like I love to hate this team now.

I didn't like the fourth quarter where the Knicks seemed to run endless isolation plays for Spree and Houston. Especially at the very end for Houston at the top of the key. Where did motion and ball movement of the first half disappear to? It's like they didn't even try to go back to that at all. Hello....it got you the 30 point lead.

I like to hate them too, but only because I want to see Lebron in an NY uniform

Except the 4.5mil exception is predicated on the fact that McDyess is out for the entire season. The Knicks had to guarantee that to get the exception.

I am still hoping for Lebron, he would add some excitement to NY ball...we had a big man with Ewing but no exciting players around him...granted when we had the thugs - mase, oak, etc the team was pretty bad *** and I wouldnt mind more of that - but Lebron would bring a lot to the table that has been missing.

There was no guarentee...the Miami Heat had Zo come back early. Don't think that Dice will be back though. We won't be a playoff team, and there will be no reason to rush him.

This team is definitely not a playoff team. I dont mean to write them off this early but lets be realistic here.

I also have a ? What happens to this year of Dyess' contract? HE gets paid so one year comes off correct? How many years is he signed for anyway? Just this season or was it 3?

Dice has one more year after this on his contract. Origionally it was an option year, but when the trade happened the Knicks made sure it was guarenteed.
