Because most general NBA threads are marked "OT" and are posted in this forum. Plus we're mostly here to talk about the Knicks.

I think posters should utilize every forum that our fine moderators have created for our enjoyment.

If we want to talk about other teams or players, wether it be in relationship to our Knicks or not, people usually do it here. Maybe it should be discussed a little more. Martin, Andrew, any thoughts? I can see that forum being used by other people who may want to talk strictly about they're own teams, but that doesn't make much sense. Could it be used for something else? I never feel a need myself to post on that forum. This is only my opinion.

Well, I was expressing my idealistic thoughts that ...although this is a Knicks forum, it's also an NBA forum. And if you watch the Knicks then surely you watch other teams. There is other news going on in the NBA besides the Knicks, you know.

Yeah, but why can't we just do it here, talk of any kind of NBA stuff? If I want to talk about let's say: The Spurs offense, then I can comment on it here and then see if anyone wants to comment on it and maybe compare to the Knicks. It's not against the law to say on this site (at least I don't think it is). I appreciate your valid effort to acknowledge the other forum, but for me, myself, I don't want to keep jokying back anf forth when I want to talk about certain things in the NBA. I'm not trying to get the other forum kicked off of this site, maybe there's a specific reason why it's there. What does anyone else think of this? You may have addressed the answer for this already when you said 'why doesn't anyone go there'.

Yeah....I noticed that not many people post there or even check it out. I posted there a few weeks ago and didn't get one response.
