Any word on who Isiah has picked to be his tri-captains? I wish that he would let the players vote and choose because I don't think Marbury would be chosen.

No captains... its stupid for this squad which is made up of players that have accomplished nothing in the NBA. Since Jalen Rose, Q, Malik Rose and Jerome James are the only ones who have played on a team that has won a playoff series I dont see the point.

On topic: Tri-Captain is a joke for this team. This is not a hockey team, nor do we have any natural leadership. Frye is the only one that comes to mind besides Malik.

BooBury as captain is an empty attempt and should not even be bought up.

If anything, it would be best to go half the season to see what happens.

If TowelBury in fact has become a leader (nothing to do with statistics) and the players are down with it then make him one. But to do it now would be comical.

Or, Make Special Nate a captain and give him a "Captain Crunch" costume. He'd be so happy, and a sense of importance!

ONly problem is Francis might want those "crunch berries"!

Or, shall we say: "CrunchBury's"!

Starbury is "Captain Caos"

I'm with Nalod, captains should not be named until midseason. After last year there should be no captains at this moment.

Agreed. I can actually consider giving it to Q and only Q, but that would start a whole ton of controversey not worth getting into. Hence, nobody else deserves a title.

After the near fight last year I don't think Q deserves it(not to mention his play). He's behaving like a leader and that can take care of itself. But right now, I just don't feel anybody on a 23 win team deserves a captaincy.

Doesn't matter to me. I just want to see some nyc basketball. Who cares if they hang together? If these guys can ban together and have each others back on the court then that's all you ask. That's what its about.
