Our best player over the last 4 years returns today against Philadelphia. How much is Latrell Sprewell going to help? I am not too sure. He's going to come off the bench behind Shandon Anderson at SF until he's 100% ready. At 1-7, expecting Spree to save the season is unfair and unrealistic. Spree is NOT Michael Jordan. He's not a franchise player. He's a great player who needs help. Help he doesn't have. But with Spree back, I do expect us to start winning some games. I don't see a team with a core of Spree, Allan Houston and Kurt Thomas a 20 win team. We are a 30-35 win team and we're going to start playing like one.

As for today's game against the Sixers, I think Spree's return will light a fire under our asses and the Garden will be rocking for the first time this season!
