If Isiah would have just relaxed and not made the worst signing in the NBA last summer and gone through with that terrible deal for Steve Francis, the Knicks would be in an unbelievable situation and would actually resemble a team with a a great future with a young core.....(and then you through in the pick that should have been top 5 protected)
The Knicks would have
Marcus Williams PG Jamal Crawford SG/Nate Robinson Trevor Ariza SF/Balkman with the 29 Channing Frye PF/David Lee PF Eddy Curry C/Jackie Butler C
Jackie Bulter I don't care what anyone says is going to go down as a terrible move, chances are he starts for the Spurs, and out of all the players that were here for the past two years he should the most development....continues to rebuild his body and showed a lot of flashes of an offensive game.....
That team has a lot of balance and the role players you need to win and its far in the distance but when the Heat and Cavs are falling apart this Knick team would have been maturing into a very dangerous unit, with bigs and a leader with ball distribution skills at the point......
And tradeble players; its a shame Isiah is so inept that we have to buy out players just so he doesn't trade them

LeBron and Wade will end their productive careers with the teams they started with. Maybe when they are on their last legg in their career will they change teams, Jordan, Pippen, Ewing and Hakeem come to mind.
Thinking the are going to join the Knicks in prime of their career is absolute pipe dream.
