The knicks will get destroyed on saturday.

Spree has to figure out how to mesh with these new guys (nailon) and he might be rusty from not having played for a while...

plus, he might have to go back to SG, which he hasn't played in a while.

Plus, his first game back, he's going to be chasing AI around, will probably get winded.

Thomas usually holds his own against the philly front line, but the rest of the team is afraid of the playing in the paint, against anyone...

eric snow might abuse AH when AH is playing the pt, if Chaney puts him there.

Furthermore, Eisley just is either outright a horrible baller or uncomfortable to Chaney's sets. Frankie W is not going to help us pull out a W either. He needs some confidence and poise. I say bapitism by fire. Start the guy, let him know that the Knicks have more confidence in him than Eisley (which they should, at least based on potential) and let this guy just run loose. Don't leave him out there to get embarrassed, but if he gets the start, and then plays for 5, 6 minutes at a stretch, he might get some bearings in the game. We're not gunning for the playoffs, so why not develop the boy?

Another reason we're going to get wrecked is that Doleac has proven to be not much better than Travis Knight. I mean, our Frontcourt rotation now consists of KT, Weatherspoon, Harrington, Doleac and Travis Knight. All of them really are scrubs except for KT. I can't believe Harrington and weatherspoon were both decent PF's in this league not too long ago. They haven't aged that much since they've gotten here, but seem to be alot worse. They get playing time. They just seem to have completely shrunken down to 6'6" and play no defense and grab minimal rebounds. Even Harrington's lefty post moves have evaporated. Is there some directive from on high to tank everything? That's the only explanation I can give for them re-signing Chaney and not completely clearing house. I mean, we can find a team in the League that would take Harrington and give us back an expiring contract and a second rounder (even though we gave up 2 first rounders and a second rounder to get him - can you believe that?!).

I can't believe we traded donnell harvey, plus future picks for erick strickland either. Layden really should go...

Ahhhh another beautiful moment in layden - knicks history. First he send Harvey packing, trades away a bunch of our picks - gets Strickland who never plays, then trades him for Othella. THEN he signs "Mr. Durability" Weatherspoon who immediately gets injured, by the time he comes back he looks like he has shrunk 3 inches and added a pack of hotdogs to the back of his neck. The only move Layden made that SORT OF made a LITTLE sense, was getting Dyess - who then broke his kneecap, and we gave up Bambi, Jackson, and NENE!!! for him. Thats a huge price for a busted up PF. Fire Layden. I didnt realize how bad he had done until you brought up what we paid for othella - i completely forgot about that. $crew this guy, he has no idea what he is doing. Not to mention we have ANDERSON and EISLEY 2 of the worst players I have ever witnessed on a basketball court who make MILLIONS to fool around. No wonder they always look so sad when they are sitting on the bench - they are frauds.

I disagree that Doleac has proven to be as bad as Knight. The guy missed all of training camp and the first 6 games. You were expecting him to be any good on his first game back? Jeez, give the guy at least five or six games to get it back together. I think you're underestimating just how bad Travis Knight is.

I was encoraged by Doleacs game. He wasnt hitting but he got his shot in the flow of the offense. he didnt try to force a shot that he shouldnt take. I think he will be a very good role player.

Spree I think will come out smokin this saturday. Spree been working ou like a mad man. Look at his shoot arounds he looks very fit. I think Chaney will limit him minutes to around 25 but I expect him to give us a good 18.
