That's right, I expect Jerome James to be a good player this season. Not great. Not "good for his contract". Just good.

I believe he will be able to stay on the floor for an average of 10-15 minutes per game.

He will rebound at an effective rate.

He will block some shots, enough to make the other team think.

He will show some of those nice offensive skills that he flashed last year.

Most importantly, he will knock people to the ground, and make them scared to come in the lane.

There, I said it. Jerome James will be good.

I want Jerome to get 1990 on the league and out mofos on their backs. Knicks need an enforcer that is paid to just be a 10-15 *******. Make the wades, carmelos, Vince carters think twice about coming down the lane. That's all Jerome needs to do. Come in and snd make the other team tie their laces a little tighter!

I think two problems-

League is not going to tolerate the 'hard nosed' (thug) mentality that those knick teams had-

and, second, I don't think JJ is the kind of guy that can come in and be an enforcer and not get called for flagrants.

Someone like a ben wallace or a Mason or Oakley could come into the game, play rough, but not get 'noticed'

He is, I think, the player who is going to be spotted for that kind of play.

That said, if he came in for 10 mins to try to change the pace of the game, clog the lane, great.

But I see him being a true role player- getting in the game based on situations- i.e., playing against shaq, tim duncan, etc.

Are we going to want him on the floor against chicago or detroit? I don't think so- he's too slow.

I don't see Jerome doing anything. The guy is overweight and is on the South-Beach diet. One of the worst contract signings, EVER.
