Now lets separate the men from the boys and see who can really be honest with us and themselves on what they see in Frye, so I'll start:
Channing Frye
Strengths: Excellent shooter from anywhere in the paint to 18 feet, nice touch in the paint, particularly his jump hook, very good pick and roll player, hustles and works hard every second he's on the court, humble and listens to a coach and will do whatever, ability to be one of the real gifted scorers in the league, can get up and block shots, has a couple of nice moves in the low post and is learning how to shoot off the dribble, has athletic qualities, great attitude, and attitude wise, he needs to prove he's got a better one than the vets and if he does he's one of our future leaders and maybe a captain.
Weaknesses: Those athletic qualities aren't anything truely special as he's more of a mechanical player which is good actually, Poor rebounder as he gets boxed out quite easily, even though he has potential, gets lossed on defense and overpowered in the low post, passes up way too many shots for whatever reason, needs to work on his passing, not a strong frame. needs work desperately.
