the guy is a beast, he has no contract yet, if we could clear Q Rich, Jalen or Steve (or a combo) out for him i'd do it... Steph, Jamal, Bonzi thats not bad... or Steph Bonzi Jeffries wit jamal off the bench either way, the guy is a beast he plays D and rebounds and has the will to win we need that

If we can move out solid team members like Malik and Qrich abd perhaps Mo T we can maybe bring in Zach randolph and Bonzai!

Im thinking MO T. ain't a big enough headcase.

Darious would make this team so boneheadedly perfect that there might be a conspiricy.

Knicks charter plane goes down and Stern gets rid of all h is "problems" and the knicks get to start over!

Its evil, but it could work.

Knicks could really use bonzi. If the knicks weren't to stacked up they could get bonzi easily. Bonzi is a go to guy. He has been hurt and never put up go to guy numbers but the dude sure acted like a go to guy in those stacked Portland teams in the past. After that the dude has just been crazy injured.

He would still be a question mark as far as him and chemistry with the team.

I started a thread on this before. Where can this guy go? No team really needs him or has the means to get him. Memphis could take him back but I think that ship has sailed.

This was to be his big payday. He has alot of history and perhaps GMs see his recent activity as not genuine and don't want to make the investment.

We don't need him at all.

its just a matter of does sac want a little something (steve, Q rich) to replace him or do they want to just let him off the books.... Is it possible for another team besides sac to sign him to the Mid Level and then trade him to us? Denver is the only team i could see maybe signing him but do they have their mid level?

I think we need to sort out what the hll we have here before flipping the bill for another long-term cotract. I think some of you are right, I would rather have Bonzi than Jefferies[thats a darn no-brainer] or other answers that we currently have at SF, but it's just not logical. We need to some cohesion with the players we have and get rid of the rest that don't seem to fit--adding fuel wont put the fire out. We need to find out what we have as is.

By the way, that is a darn lesson in greed. 7mm + year not enough for you--settle for 1-2mm and a bS promise for more money next year

u right briggs we do need to sort this out, he might not be the right fit, i do actually like jeffries at SF... a lot rides on Q rich, if he gets his Shooting touch back man it would be a whole new ball game.

Bonzi fired his agent btw lol

Yeah, Bonzi really screwed himself. Sac offers him a 5 year 36 million dollar deal and he turns it down only to later ask to come back. Now it looks like he will be lucky to get the full midlevel from someone.

I agree that Bonzi is talented, but like BRIGGS said, we need to figure out exactly what we have on the team already before we try to add the "missing" piece. For once, I hope IT keeps this team together for a few months without making any trades. We need to see what the players can do.
Trust the Process

I agree with the missing piece point. Knicks definately have to see how this current group and coaching situation plays out. The knicks may start playing and realize that they need to go in a whole different direction.

Sorry bonzi, ups is hiring, lol.
