for James Jones Kurt Thomas Atlanta and their number 1 picks next year.[they own 4 of them]

That gives them 11mm in cap space next year to resign Diaw and Q Woods is perfect for their style--easily can replace Jones

Its a great draft next year and even if they dont want to participate we have three number 1 picks to get involved with a potential KG move.

Where are their draft picks? I think I'd rather just resign Q Woods. We don't have any rights to Q Woods as far as I'm aware. If Pho had any interest in him, they could have signed him by now. You're really just offering Mo Taylor for James Jones, Kurt Thomas, and a draft pick.

they own a slew of them, but the Atlanta pick[top 3 protection and then 0] plus their own--they also Boston's and Detroit picks.

11 mm in cap space is a precious commodity and two picks is the cost. We have the rights to be able to S+T Q IF he cant find a better deal. I think he would be darn good in PHeonix.
Whether we use the picks[great greta draft next year or use them as a conduit at the trade deadline for perhaps KG??? I do know that Pheonix has been more than happy to dump 1s for cap. KT is insurance in the frontcourt and IT already wanted James who can play a tad off the bench as a shooter.

Do we still owe PHX a pick, cuz considering they seem not to want to use draft picks it would be crazy if CHI finishes in the top 6 and we get the 24th pick and have to give it to the Suns.
lol @ being BANNED by Martin since 11/07/10 (for asking if Mr. Earl had a point). Really, Martin? C'mon. This is the internet. I've seen much worse on this site. By Earl himself. Drop the hypocrisy.

well, if they are keen on keeping diaw, theyd better look into a trade like this. i think KT could help us and the picks even more. ive backed down from wanting webber--its only two years, but hes just another player that causes problems. if we have any direction that is going the right way, its the team's development through the draft. diaw is going to end up at 10 per or max out and right now they are far away from that number

It sounds like a smart move for the reasons you listed but I don't think any member of the Knicks organization in the past 5 years has been smart and creative enough to even think of something like this.
