The name of the game now for the knicks is trim the fat...I've been at odds with LBippity since the firing, but he is absolutely correct that the fat needs to be trimmed and we all know where the fat is...

the back court...

Then I went to realgm to make a trade checker (btw, I thought we had one on UK?)

and voila..
Hawks And Pacers Deal In Limbo, Harrington Available To All Teams
http://realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/41849/20060809/hawks_and_pacers_deal_in_limbo_harrington_available_to_all_teams/

And I thought to myself, self, what if Jrose and Qrich turned into Al harrington...would you be happy?

And I said yes, and they don't necessarily have to both be packaged to go there.

Then i thought, well, what if Stevie Francis and Jerome James turned into KMart?

I said, we'd contend for the right to play in the ECF.

Can Isiah do it? would it kill chemistry?

A line up of:
Backcourt: marbs/nate/crawford/collins(rookie)
SF: al harrington/jeffries/balkman(rookie)
FrontCourt: Frye/Lee/Kmart/Curry

who want it with us? (the backcourt is a bit weak)

I didn't think about MRose or MoT...it was a quick type on my way out the office.

Attack me at will fellas...

I like it, but I can't see any reason why either team would bite.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

unfortunately, and it would be a shocker, atlanta would take marbs IMHO. Georgia, but franchise is all good and they could use him.

I know, it was kind of OngBocky, but you guys were really mean to him on his last crazy trade and he's been MIA.

I would stay away from K-Mart. Micro fracture surgery really scares me. He is a player who achieves based on his emotion and athleticism. I don't think that he will ever be the same again. I also think that his superstar ego and superstar contract are not worth what he brings to the court even prior to his injury. Harrington is a different matter. Thomas knows him and I think he will be a superstar.

I am kinda in agreement here but I would also hold reservations until the trade deadline. If KMart looks OK and you can unload JJ/Francis/Q (at least 2 of 3) than I would think hard about it.

Looking at the Knicks roster I can't see anyone that the Hawks would want other than Marbury. That would mean that we would have to take Joe Johnson back with Big Al. There's no way to make this trade in a way that wouldn't make Atlanta look insane. There's just no match there unfortunately.
Alan Hahn: Nate Robinson has been on a ridonkulous scoring tear lately (remember when he couldn't hit Jerome James with a Big Mac in early January?)

I think the Hawks might be trying to pull a Cleveland and tank this upcoming season to land this Oden kid.

Thet might be willing to trade for expiring contracts to keep the payroll low and make sure they are terrible enough to land the number 1.

Good luck Mike D'Antoni, 'cause you ain't never seen nothing like this before!
