I see him becoming our version of SAR, which is pretty nice (although he's basically a jumpshooting 4/5). A lot of non-ny fans think highly of frye as well, so it might not be just us delirious homers.
He's pretty damn good in the post, too. His only problem last year was sporadic playing time.
Yeah man, his hook is money. I don't like that Frye is non-physical, or just not overpowering on offense (can't back people down, so pivots a couple times and shoots a hook). I remember he was matched up against Granger (SF) during one game and wasn't strong enough to back him down, so just kept dribbling two or three times and then passing out of the post (no double team). Channing can certainly dunk, however, and should get plenty of transition and pick-n-roll opportunities with both Steph and Stevie here. He can also shoot, and will likely improve his game once players start crowding him and he has to expand his repertoire.
