now why cant we make signings like this? everything is 6mm per and up! you would think that Lo wright could get more $$$ than Jerome James or Jared Jefferies.

For that price, he's a good signing.

I bet a good formula for making new threads would be to wait for a transaction to happen and then say "why can't the Knicks do something like this?"

Except, for it to be really effective, you'd have to do it for every single transaction that ever happens.

not a bad signing- but would we need him? He is more a PF/C- we're crowded there, no? With Frye and Curry.

Granted, though- that would be a good signing.

As far as over paying for Jeffries- our deal is just slightly richer than the one he received from Washington- and he is more versitle that Wright in terms of mobility- and that is the name of the game in the NBA...

I like Lorenzen. That's a very good signing. The difference is patience. And from Dolan on down, this organization has very little.

I have to agree with Briggs, Stevenson and Wright were signed for cheap. I like Jeffries but I don't like the contract amount!! The Knicks overpay and that is a problem!!

I dont mean to be a huge d!ck but do you have to have 2 exclamation marks after everything? Your point is just as valid without them. Maybe you can just use exclamation marks to emphasize a few things. It makes it more valuable. Just a suggestion.

Anyway, yeah we def overpaid for Jared. 30 mil for a 1 dimensional player that fills a need yet we got a rookie to do the same thing? C'mon.

It's JJ syndrome at its best. Jerome James, rendered ineffective through the Curry deal. Jared Jeffries, rendering Balkman ineffective.

Metra - Balkman will be perfect coming off the bench. A jolt of energy.

The Knicks coaches don't make the assumption that Renaldo would be ready to start on November 2nd. Jeffries can. I don't see a problem with that thinking.

If you really believe that, then you know nothing. Who pays for the money Cablevision wastes? You think Dolan is taking a loss? He's not.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Metra; The fact that you noticed my exclamations and had to comment on them tells me that you have too much time on your hands. I simply finished one thought and then added another without thinking about correcting the punctuation, simple mistake!!
