Last season the man lost his brother and high profile girlfriend in one season. He was arguably our most consistant player. HE supported guys when he was hurt and started playing good ball at the end of the season. We really should be worrying about how to get Miles and QRich back on the same team here in NYC or has it been that long for some of you to remember the chemistry they had before the Clippers opened up the bank. QRich was my favorite Knick because no one had more to deal with than him and he made no excuses. That's my dog!!!

If Q was consistant at anything last year, it was being a god-awful shooter. Yes, he as a good teammate, yes he gave good effort on D, but he brought here to spread the floor which he failed to do. I broke down his numbers in another thread and will do it again if need be.

The guy has a broke-back. Thats an injury that gets progressively worse.

BTW, the only thing I remember about Q and Miles when they played for the Clips was them pounding the hell out of there heads with their fists after making a basket. I do not remember them piling up many wins though.

Q sucked last year before his brother was killed. I just finished posting about him in the miles thread.

Q deserves to be traded cuz he was flat out terrible. I love the guy too. Like you said we just gotta wish him well. As far as basketball, the knicks gotta think how can they win a championship. Q is not that guy. He could bouce back but can he give the knicks 14pts and 6rebs with good percentages? Miles is probably closer to it and miles has the length and shot blocking ability that the knicks need from the 3.

Q1 didn't lose his high profile girlfriend, he divorced freaking Brandy.

But wait. They are back together? Hmmm. From the Brandy wiki:

I think the surest sign your girlfriend is "high profile" is that she slates you after she consoles you. That--and, hey, we're talking classic Knicks basketball weirdness here--and she turns a tattoo portrait of you into a, ahem, cat.

The Brady wiki is better reading than summer league wrap ups:

Guys, we need Brandy on the Knicks team, if you see what I mean. If they split, okay, he can concentrate on basketball. But if they get back togther, she's got to act real and let him focus on basketball. Yes, you can see it coming, I blame Brandy for the state the Knicks are in. She either needs to move on or help focus her husband's talents on basketball. Knicks fans should appeal to Brandy to be repectful of Q1's talent. She could have divorced him in the offseason, or negotiated the situation with Zeke, instead of taking his heart out of the game early in the season.

My suggestion? It's obvious, no? Brandy needs to join UK and get real with Knicks fans. She doesn't need to bother Q1 when she doesn't understand a rule change. She can ask the UK forums. Gives the Knicks fans something to and propels Q1 into the all star game (where he gets dusted by new Lakers sensation, Dajuan Wagner.)

See. There's hope.

Let Q proove his value somewhere else. nothing personal--seems like a nice guy, but 37% shooting 2 guards are good for a lot of long rebounds and fast breaks the other way. You want to win? or do you want a 6-5 245 pd 4 playing 2 chucking 3s at 1-11 clips?

But miles doesn't spread the floor, which if u going to get rid of him, u may want to consider that. Also aside from JC and maybe Jalan who else do we have as a three pt threat. As a matter of fact our perimter game is very suspect to say the least.
