So what do you guys think? I am of the opinion that as long as spree is out we arent really going to get many W's - and with him we wont get that many more. The Kings game was a fluke. It was good for the teams moral and it is nice to see Nailon can produce...however the road ahead is a long one.

The bright side of all of this is, we picked up a good player for pretty cheap. If Dyess comes back next season and is as good as new - we somehow manage to keep Nailon - and get a good draft pick, or make some kind of nice trade, then I think this team will start the road to recovery. Nailon is clearly step 1.

So what are the predictions for friday?

that's funny, but I think we will have to give Doleac his chance. He is no banger, but he can hit the 18 footer.

Yeah, I liked him at Utah. He and Van Horn made a strong frontcourt combo. I just have this weird feeling that his leg will never heal, same with McDyess.

If he does play, rebounding is key. Notice we won on boards in our only win? That's because Harrington finally got some rebounds. If Nailon gives Houston a rest, then maybe Doleac can give Thomas a rest.

I'm going to bet that the Knicks win another, then lose the next. Knicks over Pacers by 2.

Well, even with Nailon coming on strong, I think that the D that Artest plays and the overall athleticism that Indiana posses will keep the Knicks to under 80 points. Pacers by 10 in a low scoring affair.
