Ok...bonzi is still not on a team yet?

So anyone think this guy has a chance to be a knick?

Getting him might be the type of clean up trade the knicks could do, especially if jefferies becomes a knick.

Thoughts?

Hasn't he been threatened with death by Artest if he doesn't stick with the Kings?

I doubt it. You would have to be a drunk fan of the caucasian persuasion for artest to follow threw with a threat like that.

Seriously, the kings have aleady moved on from bonzi so it seems. Kings might use bonzi just to drop another contract or something. Knicks have the expireing deals to make a move.

Bonzi is a bigtime talent when health. Can he keep a cool head in ny? The media will roast him if he tries to play tough guy without producing.

Damn bonzi is a nasty mofo when healthy! He proved it in Portland and in sactown when he finally got healthy again. Bonzi is that nasty dude that can make a difference on this club.

Its been quiet with the stuff written on him.

Q without the back problems was supposed to be Bonzi for us. Can we trade Q for Bonzi straight up? How about MoT for Bonzi...

bonzi pulled a jerome james - he blew up in the playoffs and had a good season during a contract year.

He's no JJ. He's a good player who simply played even better in the playoffs. It's nice to see a good player elevate his game in the playoffs.

Bonzi has had a weird career. He was a big part of what Portland did when he was there. Those Portland teams were stacked too. After that the dude has basically been hurt.

When he came on for sactown he was great. Then he reinjured himself. He came back for the playoffs and went nuts. The rebounding and inside fury is what is most impressive. He carried himself like a go to guy and delivered in the clutch.

Bonzi is the type of player the knicks have to take a chance on. Bonzi can be a force when healthy. Knicks need his type of skills and killer instinct. There is a huge health risk obviously.

I'm just pondering. Its too quiet on the bonzi front.

I'd take bonzi anyway the knicks can get him.

I just know jefferies is not the end all. That can't be it.

marbury, bonzi, JJ, Martin, Curry would give us some serious defense..make it happen Isiah and I will forgive you for all the bad you've done!

I can definitely see Francis going to Sac for Bonzi and throw-ins

Bonzi is definitely a player that could help to balance the roster, if we traded, say, Steve Francis for him. That being said, there's 0 chance of it happening, because why would Sac take on Francis when they have Bibby?
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

Well that's our sales pitch, but the real question is... is Petrie a big drinker? He'd need to be to accept a trade where he gets a star PG when he already has one. Only one GM would do something silly like that.

The knicks best chance to get bonzi would be to trade them jalen maybe and take an annoying contract off their hands. That would be a huge risk, especially if bonzi comes to ny and he spends a long time on the ir.

thats never an issue to me. players get healthy unless they're former knicks LJ & H20 with max contracts. Its a great idea..i'd take back a bad contract if they have one which we can always waive at some point
whats up with bonzi?
