He didn't play bad at all last night. This might mean Sprewell is gone because Anderson has been playing fair and Nailon is really coming along. I'm starting to consider a Van Exel/Bradley or Stoudamire/Davis for Sprewell deal. Nailon will eventually start and give good scoring at the 3. I see him averaging 12 and 4 in 30 minutes per. Houston can continue to emerge as the go to guy and at least keep his average around 25 for the season. Stoudamire or Van Exel would both provide scoring at the point, between 13 and 18 points and 6-7 assists per. Dale Davis or Shawn Bradley would provide solid D and excellent size. Next year we can add McDyess and his 20 and 10 to the mix and a good rookie and we'll be very solid, possibly good enough for 50 wins.

I just watched the tape of the game and was very impressed with Anderson's play. Outside shots, niece weak-side D and lots of hustle. The guy is very quick.

Ward had a solid game - don't know why he didn't really play at the end of the 4th. And he was actually looking for his shot - something that was missing last year. This forced the defense to watch him a bit closer and leave others open.

We'll just call Lee Nailon instant offense. Stojakovic is no all-defensive team candidate, and Lee showed us why: he was just abused over and over again.

I don't know what was wrong with Webber, but the guy kept shooting the 18-20 footer instead of posting up. That played right into the Knicks' hands.

I thought it was great. The main thing was that it was unexpected, and done in the face of a guy with huge hops (Gerald Wallace). It's the best dunk by a home player at the Garden for quite a while. With MC gone and Spree injured we don't get treated to many plays like this any more.
We suck.

NVE/Stoudy + Houston + Nailon in the same starting lineup? We'd be more porus than a sieve.
We suck.

from espn.com

Hornets-NYK game:
Anderson went in on a breakaway midway through the third quarter, and the crowd anticipated a replay of his impressive dunk over Gerald Wallace of Sacramento on Wednesday. Defended by Davis, Anderson attempted a layup and missed. Eisley then missed the tip-in. ... Anderson shot three airballs.
