I have been studying the nba rosters. I trying to find a way for the knicks to somehow improve for the upcoming season. The one thing that might not make these trades work could dolan's approval. So here are my trades. Can a Knick fan dream a little.

First trade. Trying to get someone who could play defense.

Crawford for Ruben Patterson

Second Trade I'm trading a big contract to get a establish power forward and a quick small forward.

David Lee Zack Randolph
M. Rose Steve Blake
Stevie Francis for D. Miles

Third Trade
This one I like the most from the first two trades. This trade gives sonics cap room and are looking to move money.

Jamal Crawford R. Lewis
Nate Robinson Nick Collison

the 1st trade is terrible, we could get patterson for less and i'd rather try to get balkman or collins to play his role. Second trade I want nothing to do wtih randolph and miles, we have enough players with issues on the team. And the third one - i don't care if crawford and nate are from seattle, there is no way they make that move. crawford and francis have long contracts, if they wanted to dump lewis and allen they could easily get expiring contracts. and they throw in collison?? no way it happens
