Whoa, just caught this from today's David D article:

"They shoot 43 percent. They have been outscored 111-52 from the foul line in four games."

43% and being "outgunned" from the free throw line. I guess it speaks of lacking a post/inside presence to get the down and dirty fouls and creating an offense that spreads the D. This is what Dice would have brought. I am not sure that a Spree return is going to help all that much.

i agree... having spree back isn't going to do that much besides talk some shots away from houston..anderson will hopefully get less time than nailon. at least if we pick up bradley with the exception we'll get to move thomas to the 4, and have better D and more rebs. that'll solve our center issue for a little while and give us more height.

I would have to agree, as much as I think Bradley is more of a sideshow attraction than a basketball player.

If Layden could dump just one of those bums (Eisley, Anderson) for a larger, rebounding bum, or an over-the-hill post-up bum, it would be an accomplishment on his part, even though it wouldn't solve all our problems.

That's the key, dumping one of Eisley or Anderson - and preferably Eisley. We cannot trade for someone like Bradley for just the exception.

I am kind of Anderson's bandwagon these days. He's a good off the bench role player - good defender, hustles, slashes to the hole. If he could only get consistent minutes, I think his productivity would go up.

How are you going to get anderson consistent minutes? I would have nailon, spree, & houston play over him, and that leaves little time for anderson. when spree comes back, anderson can play behind houston, but that should be an average of 10 minutes a night, and thats only if postell gets no minutes, again.
