Does anyone have any updates on how Curry and JJ are doing weightwise in their off season workouts? With the departure of Jackie, their weights are obviously a huge deal to this team and to us as fans. If those two guys come into camp in top shape, then I really do believe we can be a 42-44 game winning team. Maybe as high as 46 (possilby a touch optimistic). Anyhow, does anyone have any info on what those two are up to? Thanks ahead of time.

There haven't been any weight statements, but I know that Aguirre has been working with Curry during the summer. I don't expect them to be slim, but at least be in shape to contribute in training camp and then have a smoother transition to the regular season. Even heavy Curry has amazing athletic ability. He'd only be enhanced with a bit less flab.

I'm not overly concerned about Curry since I know he's being monitored. James on the other hand is hard to tell. He said he would comeback better and felt embarrassed about his performance last year. But who knows how much that will motivate him.

I read on another site that Curry is supposedly working out in Chicago with Jordans former Trainer.

curious- what was Jeromes reason last year?

And for Curry- I wonder if he can get his weight down. It seems the one time he did slim down, it was with help of pills (what were they) that lead to the heart condition.

Losing weight for Jerome is devastating...
This is all he has. Without weight he will be invisible...

Curry is OK with number of pounds but he is short of the brain cells.
Unfortunately you cannot work out pounds into brain cells...

I dont expect Jerome James to come into shape becuase isnt up for a new contract, curry on the other hand I remember Steve from knicks 4 life, saying that curry has been working out, and even scrimmaging in chicago, so theres still hope for him. but as for JJ I wouldnt expect too much out of him if I were you guys.

JJ is our GloobenTroller.
He make it enterteining - does some tricks.
And reps should let him play not foult him out for some silly stuff loke travel, flegrant fouls, etc. This is the show buisness... Don't you understand?
This NBA officials so fr..in boring with theis Dress code and stuff...
