Now that it seems like Wash will re-sign Jared Jeffries, I wonder out-loud if IT will revisit the scenario of trading for DMiles.

DMiles is 6'10, has a similar build to Jeffries, and is without a doubt a better player. In fact, from a pure basketball standpoint Miles is a good fit here.

Miles will give us good wing defense (can also rebound and blockshots from the wing) and will not be a liability on the offensive (like some feel Jeffries will be). With his athletic ability, he might be able to thrive in Isiahs motion offense. Plus, Qrich is his best friend so there shouldn't be too many chemistry issues.

The downside is that DMiles brings alot of baggage with him. And of course there are questions about his character.

If the Knicks could move FRANCIS for MILES (there might have to a be combination of other players for salary cap implecations as well) its somehting to think about. It'll definitely clear up some of the backcourt clutter, but Miles' character issues would make me hesitant to pull the trigger.

I know Miles missed some time last year due to a knee injury, but i didn't know it was microfracture. Are you sure about this because if it was, he got back in the lineup quicker than most players that have had similar surgery.

atleast mention the thread which you stole the idea from.....


DLee is the best thing to happen to NY in Isiah's 4 year tenure. And that alone, though a positive on the radar, is sad as hell.
