How about a Jamal Magliore and future 2nd rounder for M. Rose and Nate?

Sounds like an even trade.

What clutter? We have 2 overweight lazy centers right now. While we have 1 dillusional PG...nevermind.

Here is the link..

http://www3.realgm.com/src_wiretap_archives/41584/20060719/harris_having_difficulty_trying_to_trade_magloire/
Magloire on hold: Harris said no deals were imminent involving veteran center Jamaal Magloire, who is entering the last year of his contract and will be paid $8.3 million next season.

The Bucks would like to acquire backup help at the shooting guard and small forward positions, but thus far they have not found the right deal.

The 28-year-old Magloire would like to move to another team where he can play a more prominent role and increase his value for a future contract. He started at center for Milwaukee last season, but the Bucks have committed to 7-footer Andrew Bogut, who will move from power forward to center next season. Newly acquired Charlie Villanueva will be the starter at power forward.

"I've told Jamaal, 'I'm not going to give you away,' " Harris said. "Not a guy that's 10 (points) and 10 (rebounds) and is a starting center in the NBA. We're actively trying to do some things that make sense for him and for us.

"The future of our franchise is the man to my right (Villanueva) and Andrew Bogut. It's just the way it's going to be. But Jamaal still can be an integral part of what we're going to do."

If they're looking for help at SG/SF - let's offer them QRich.

Why would the Bucks want Nate when they have Mo Williams? It also said they are looking for a sf.

I'd give Franchize for Maggy straight up if possible.

Replace "help" with "garbage" and it works perfectly!

Jackie Butler would've been a nice piece to include in a trade for Magloire. Butler, Nate, a future pick and filler for Mags would've been hard to turn down.
Wishing everyone well. I enjoyed posting here for a while, but as I matured I realized this forum isn't for me. We all evolve. Thanks for the memories everyone.

I'll pass on Magloire. Already have Curry/Frye to man the center spot. If the Knicks plan on upgrading, it better be a superstar becuase theres too much money tied up in Curry already.

I would like magloire if we didn't have david lee. with magloire we could do a 3 man rotation at the 4/5, frye and curry start, magloire subs in for either of them. but then that makes lee a 4th option, so he probably won't get more than 10 mpg. The other option is lee backs up the 4, magloire the 5, but if we are devoted to developing curry (as we should be, considering what we gave up for him), then magloire will prob only get about 10-15 mins per game, which isn't enough.
