Andrew scored 7 points and pulled down only 4 rebounds in 36 minutes of action. He only took 4 shots in the entire game and had trouble getting involved on both sides of the court. He made a couple of silly fouls and got called for some other questionable ones. Bynum tends to get frustrated and when he does he starts overplaying his man and playing more aggressive defense, which leads to more fouls. He needs to harness this energy and be more productive with it. His one real highlight was a pretty jump hook in the lane that gave us a glimpse of where he could be heading.

Bynum is 19? 20? Frye is 23? I think I would. But it would not be an easy decision.

Bynum and Curry and James on the same team? There are not enough Chicken Mac Nuggets to go around.

I would rather keep Frye without a doubt

I agree I believe he is still only 18 or just turned 19 recently.

it would make sense since since Bynum is going to be a much better Shot-blocker, rebounder, defender has a good 3inches on the 6-10 330LB Curry. Unfortunately Isiah Thomas isn't running the Lakers so fogettaboutit

Man can dream!

and if that somehow didn't work out we'd have a shot at Greg Oden! No Jerome James, no Curry in the equation & much lower bill at the buffet table

Oh, and I wouldn't trade Frye for Bynum. To be fair, I would wait to see Curry for the first half of this season. If he is the same EC I would trade him for Bynum.

I would trade Curry for Bynum, Frye i'm not so sure because I think frye is a good long-term compliment to a low-post scorer like Curry or like Bynum should become.

Frye is going to be an all-star, or near all-star for the rest of his career.

I wouldn't trade Curry for Bynum either and anyone who says they would is pouting.

every site I've ever come across lists Curry at 6-10.if you want to believe he's closer to 285LB than 330 go ahead I'd go with the latter. There's a reason he's always in foul trouble. Its tough guarding guys who are taller and more elusive. It's also hard boxing them out for rebounds

edit: I see they are now listing Curry at 6-11. Which is fine if you believe Jackie Butler is 7ft. Side by Side Jackie is taller

Why so? Why are you allowed to think that Frye is going to be a near all-star and others aren't allowed to think that Bynum is a near all-star? What makes you so elitist in this fashion?

The guy has all the skills to become a dominant beast in the post. Will he? Who knows but I see no reason why he wouldn't. He has a great work-ethic and that can go a long way.

frye has a great work ethic but doesn't have the physical tools or the mentality to defend nba 4's & 5's but the boy sure can shoot that 15ft'er like no other and go in for a jam when the lane is clear! All the while getting abused by the likes of KG, Jneal, Duncan, Amare, Dirk, Brand and co on the other end

So, does that make Nate a scrub as well for getting burned by Arenas, Kobe, Wade, Iverson, Nash and co?

The players you mentioned have all received votes for MVP. Frye will be a good player, but at this stage does not look like an MVP candidate. I don't mind him getting burned by those guys.
