the rest... Collins, Mo Taylor (waive), J.Rose (waive), M.Rose and J.James (yikes!) Udoka (cut)
While I hate to give up Lee, we get rid of Francis (to his hometown), get Jeffries,A.Jamison and free up roster spot to resign Woods. Jamison and Frye balance each other as Jamison is a good rebounder and post player (balance Frye outside abilities). It's not ideal, but it would solve a few problems and balance out the roster a bit. Comments?

i love all these ideas where we simply "waive" veterans making multi-million dollar salaries, as if Dolan's OK with just throwing even more money out the window than he already has this year.
& why should we trade David Lee?... i'd much rather let Jackie B walk for nothing than give David Lee away.
After 7 years & 40K+ posts, banned by martin for calling Nalod a 'moron'. Awesome.

Mo Taylor serves no purpose on this team and will be traded for a player with matching salary which means Mo money. I say cut you losses of 1 year rather than compounding it by trading him at the deadline. Someone might need J. Rose can stay for now and if the right deal doesn't come along then we do it otherwise just let him drop of the books.

if anyone is cut it should be Qrich or JJ since they have longterm contracts, don't produce & take mins away from the younger players for years to come

Cut JJ if you want, but we may as well wait and see if we can deal Q since he's still useful and tradeable (hopefully). I'm guessing Isiah gets canned at the end of this year, so if we get a gm of a reasonable mindset (is this possible with james dolan at the helm?)he may be able to parlay JJ or Qrich into players with shorter or expiring deals.

With this group, I would love to waive Rose and Taylor-2 contracts that expire after the season anyway-as a way to save Isiah from himself. With all these bodies, id he pulls something like a Jalen for KMart at midseason(or something along those lines) it could be dreadful with all these bodies.
As said, I would cut Mo and Jalen Rose, Maybe cast an eye Denver's way to take on JJ(for Patterson-who would be cut immediatly-FA at the end of the season or Najera-one year left after this) or Q(for Patterson and a 2nd rounder-Patterson to be immediatly cut)...
Add Jefferies, resign Woods...Hopefully Franchise makes his mark at the begining of the season and we can trade him for a shorter bad conract and a 1st round pick(How about LA Lakers-Kwame(here for the short term only) and Aaron McKie(vet influence, FA at the end of the year)...now we can look at really truly starting over..
Curry Frye Jefferies Woods? Marbury
Craw, Lee, Nate, Collins, Malik, Balkman off the bench.
Plus a first round pick next year (I would guess no worse than 20-22)
